PEDAGOGICAL CONTENTS

TEACHING METHOD

Based on the observation, I saw the teacher applied student and teacher center learning by asking the students to give their point of view and be reinforced by the teacher. Another method what teacher used, especially my coordinating teacher, Mam Clau, she asked the students to gather in audio visual room to have movie time. As what Mam Clau said that the movie we watched was actually the topic they would discuss in the following day. This movie time aims in order to help a better understanding of the students to the topic.

FACILITIES of LEARNING

During the observation, especially JHS teacher mostly uses the chalk instead of power point because the number of LCD were not enough to facilitate all teachers in all sections. Somehow the teacher still can use it whenever the topic is needed to be explained clearly by the photo and video. The other facilities that has ever been used by my coordinating teacher were multimedia room and audio visual room.

SOURCE OF LEARNING

Teacher instructed the students to find out the contents of topic from the book and the internet. During the class the teacher also provide power point (for the topic that needs a lot of abstraction from the photos and videos).

ASSESSMENTS

There are several assessments that teacher used to finalize the learning outcome score which are performance task, diagnostic test, summative test, quarterly assessment, and formative assessments. The evaluation that Mam Clau used is rubrics.
