ACADEMIC SUPPORT SYSTEM

During the observation, i looked some functional facilities that help students to develop their cognitive and psychometric skills. Those are the library, laboratory, multimedia room, audio visual room, and sport field.

MATERIALS AND LEARNING SOURCES

During the observation and my actual teaching, the material tools we used were LCD and speaker and learning source that support the students are the book they own and the books they can find in the library.

TEACHING SYSTEM

The teachers always gave the students the chances to deliver their point of views. Furthermore the students related them to their daily activities as an examples. Then the teachers reinforced by her/his perception with the given authentic data. As what i observed, even though the teachers were dominating in term of explaining in the class, they still ask the students participation in order to know how far their understanding about the topic.

MEASUREMENT AND EVALUATION SYSTEM

The teachers in USANT used some kind of measurement. One of the application of the measurement test that teacher applied were the cognitive test and the psychometric test. The cognitive test requires the students to answer the examination questions while the psychometric test requires the students skill for example making the traditional food and doing the science demonstration.

CURRICULUM

JHS of USANT is using K-12. The curriculum help the students to pursue their academic skill with constructivism view view and non-academic skill which evidently require them to meet the stated standard and to participate the non-academic program.
