Day 1 – College observation

Participating in the social class : discussing about the school and society issues

We observed the social section of college students. The lecturer, social students, and we discussed about the school and society issues. I as participant of discussion represented my friends to deliver our point of view about relationship within the school and society issues. I came up with the problem in Indonesia that currently happened which is smoke haze, especially in Jambi and other nearby province of Jambi. Then I shared the causes and offered some solutions and anticipations. I also shared the information that Indonesia is struggling to bend any plastic bag and use the eco bag instead in all stores due to the environmental consideration. Then in the late afternoon, this was the first time we met the buddies. They fetched us to the mosque by tricycle (my first experience). Then we went to traditional market to get sim card and buy some laundry stuffs in the afternoon. Then we had our dinner at Jollibee

Day 2 – Indonesian-Pinoy Food

We asked ate Rose to lend us the oven to reheat our food we brought from Indonesia which are Rendang and Dendeng that are needed to be heated. Then we had our late breakfast among Indonesian participant of SEA Teacher. In the afternoon, our buddies visited us and brought some traditional food for us. Then we asked them to taste Indonesian foods too (Rendang, Dendeng, Sambal Pecel, Sambal Kentang Kering, and Sambal Tempe Kering).

DAY 3 – Parent’s Meeting

Parent Meeting, Grocery, and Rehearsal

On this day, we were asked to introduce ourselves in parent meeting as SEA Teacher students from Indonesia. During this event we heard any programs that delivered by Dean for example the linkage of some universities partner of USANT. Dean also appreciated us since our arrival is during school accreditation furthermore it helps USANT gained the verDean also appreciated us since our arrival is during school accreditation furthermore it helps USANT gained the very good accreditation. Then we went to traditional market and Pure Gold supermarket to get the season and fresh foods to cook. Then we went back to the mini hotel (USANT dormitory) to cook and do rehearsal (practicing Indonesian performance to opening ceremony) in the coming days.

Day 4 – Iriga City Charter Anniversary and Ilian Hills

On this day, we went to the market earlier with Kuya Arlou, then we took a tea break in Tea Block cafe. After having a rest a while, we put our grocery stuffs in the dorm and went to the front of Pure Gold street with our buddies (Kuya Arlou, Apple, and Micah) to watch the majjoretes competition. Furthermore we traveled to the mall a moment annd continue our journey to Iriga City (Ilian hills). This is actually my first experience walking up the hill. I saw a lot of amazing view when we were at uphill like Buhi Lake, USANT, and other sceneries.

DAY 5 – OBSERVATION in SHS and OPENING CEREMONY

On this day, we did our 1st observation in Senior High School of USANT in the morning and opening ceremony in the afternoon at 16.00. The rundowns were praying, singing national anthem of Philipines and Indonesia, the speech of (vice president, dean, and sir Rafael as coordinator). Then, I performed Tari Tanggai as Indonesian traditional dance and followed by other SEA Teacher friends who sang our traditional songs. After Indonesian performance, then followed by courtship dance which were Carinosa (National Dance of the Philipine) and Pandanggo Rinconada (Local Dance of Iriga). Then followed up coordinating teacher introduction. My coordinating teacher was Ms. Claudette May B. Mora as science teacher.
